Dear Friends:

Good day, and thanks to all of you for the tremendous outpouring of support Nancy and I have received at the start of our campaign to lead this city to newer, higher heights.

ELECTION DAY is fast approaching, and the time for action is now. Our city is facing a plague, my friends. The proud citizens of our fair city have been besotted with leadership afraid to stare corruption in the face, and scare it out the city gates. We have been stricken with a cancer - a deadly pox of weak-in-the-knees, as our current mayor has shown time and again that he lacks the strength to turn back the evils facing us.

That's why I'm running for Mayor.

Our city needs leaders of vision. Our city needs men of backbone. Our city needs a visionary, a leader who fears only God, and sleeps easy knowing that His will is my daily quest.

When ELECTION DAY comes on August 9th, I hope you'll make me your mayor. I won't let you down. Our city deserves a new class of leaders.
